Grow Green Match Day 2025

“You make a gift. We make it grow.”

These two sentences, long associated with Grow Green Match Day, could have special meaning for Meadowlark Foundation’s Match Day donors. Not only do Grow Green contributions grow in value because of a 50% match, but also Grow Green donations “grow” opportunities for Meadowlark employees and “grow” the pool of talented nurses who care for Meadowlark residents.

CenterPointe Physicians purchased "Sunflower Fields, Kansas" by Kristin Goering at the 7th Art Mingle and hung it near the door to their waiting room. SNW Gallery donated a portion of gallery sales prompted by the event to Meadowlark Memory Program.

Reacting to feedback from previous guests and with a yearly desire to entertain, engage, and evoke, the Art Mingle committee planned the early March event with several additions to prior fundraisers. If feedback from guests is any indication, these changes were for the better, as they figuratively and literally elevated Art Mingle: Hidden Gems to benefit Meadowlark Memory Program.

Are your home or office walls a bit … well, naked? Perhaps you’d like to replace a mass-produced piece with an original.

SNW Gallery in the HEART of downtown Manhattan is ready to help turn voids into vivid views that speak to you, and in the process, support the efforts of Meadowlark Memory Program. Plan now to attend Art Mingle: Hidden Gems on Friday, March 7, at SNW Gallery and Union Hall, 328 Poyntz Ave. A portion of gallery sales that evening benefit the memory program, which offers FREE activities and support for those living with memory challenges and their care partners.

Holiday décor items were displayed among the furniture pieces at the November sale.

   “Great sale. Good customer service.”
   “Everyone was sweet and helpful.”
“The ladies there are very pleasant and helpful. Thanks!”
   “Friendly people!”

It’s the holiday season – a time for good tidings and grateful hearts. At Meadowlark Market, the merry and magic associated with Christmas appear to be experienced year-round. The comments above were sent to the Market team by customers during the past several months, and at least one frequent shopper and one Market volunteer echo these sentiments.

The ICE! exhibit at the Gaylord Texan included a stunning nativity scene.

More than 1 million visitors are expected to visit Grapevine, Texas, (population 50,981) during its annual Christmas Capital of Texas celebration, and the Meadowlark Travelers were 38 of that number on Dec. 6 and 7, ready to experience some Texas-size fun. In addition to tour leaders Becky Fitzgerald and Monte Spiller, our group was composed of residents, Passport members, and family members.

Kelley Boland’s beaded designs are doing more than catching sunlight. They are catching much attention wherever they are displayed.

Such was the case at August’s Empowered LIVE!, an annual event to empower persons living with Parkinson’s Disease to celebrate life and stay engaged. Boland, a newer member of the Young Onset group supported by Meadowlark Parkinson’s Program, was one of several VIPDs showing off their handiwork and hobbies at the LIVE! gathering, held prior to the Speedy PD Race for Parkinson’s Disease.
