Local not-for-profit focused on supporting people in living their best lives
Vital Connections is a regional workforce initiative powered by Meadowlark that aims to grow the next generation of healthcare professionals across our community and surrounding rural areas. We believe that strong communities are built on strong connections—and that by supporting career exploration in healthcare, all ships rise with the tide. This program is about more than filling job openings. It’s about opening doors.
Through school outreach, community partnerships, and hands-on guidance, Vital Connections encourages students and job seekers to explore a wide range of healthcare professions—from physicians, physical therapists, and pharmacists to EMTs, radiology techs, long-term care administrators, lab assistants, and more. Whether someone is interested in direct patient care, diagnostics, therapy, leadership, or emergency response, there's a path—and a place—for them in healthcare.
By partnering with healthcare employers throughout the region, Vital Connections helps ensure a seamless introduction to the vast opportunities within the healthcare industry. We’re here to support students, parents, educators, and employers alike in building careers that are meaningful, in-demand, and vital to our region’s well-being.
Discover what's vital. Regional and rural healthcare needs you.
