Local not-for-profit focused on supporting people in living their best lives
Jericho Taylor, RN BSN, serves as the Community Healthcare Recruiter for Vital Connections, bringing a diverse background in both nursing and rehabilitation care. A proud graduate of Graceland University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Jericho also holds a background as a certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
In her role, Jericho is focused on growing the healthcare workforce throughout the Flint Hills region and beyond. She connects with students, parents, teachers, instructors, tech programs, undergraduate programs, healthcare employers, and beyond to share what a career in healthcare could do for an individual and the Kansas communities they call home.
With experience spanning both military and civilian healthcare settings, Jericho has developed a deep understanding of the unique needs of providers and the communities they serve. As a Kansas native, Jericho is passionate about connecting talented healthcare professionals with opportunities that make a real impact.
Jericho loves working as a Community Healthcare Recruiter because it offers the chance to blend both nursing and therapy backgrounds while building meaningful connections with students, healthcare programs, and employers—all with the goal of strengthening the local healthcare system and improving community well-being.
Outside of work, Jericho enjoys outdoor activities, coaching youth sports, attending various sporting events, and spending quality time with family, especially doing anything outdoors. A favorite time of year is fall, when the weather is just right for long walks to admire the changing leaves, making crockpot meals, and enjoying a good latte.
Jericho lives with spouse, Paine, and their two children, Hallie and Creed.
I am truly humbled and honored to have the opportunity to be a part of Meadowlark Hills.
