Health & Nutrition Society (HNS), a student interest organization, will be hosting a meet-and-greet event with residents who graduated from the College of Human Ecology (Home Economics) at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 13, in the Manhattan Room. HNS is an organization which promotes education, awareness, and activism within the Department of Human Nutrition at Kansas State University. HNS is planning to host a display table at K-State's Open House in April and would like to speak with alumni to gather information about career paths which started at KSU. The stories and experiences residents of Meadowlark Hills could share will add depth and interest to this display and will help HNS better relate what KSU has to offer to prospective students. HNS will be honored to spend an evening with residents learning about the humble beginnings of the College of Human Ecology as well as, the career paths and experiences of the wonderful alumni who reside at Meadowlark Hills.
