Holiday Lights Tour: Experience the twinkling lights of the season!

Monday, December 30, 2013 - 5:45pm

Location: Depart from Village Entrance

Manhattan has been trimmed with the essence of the season and holiday lights galore! Take the Holiday Lights Tour on Monday, Dec. 30, to witness the first ever, “Festival of Lights,” at Manhattan’s Blue Earth Plaza and much, much more!

Transportation will depart from the Village Entrance at 5:45 p.m. for Longhorn Steakhouse for dinner. Longhorn Steakhouse is known for their high-quality steaks but also has fantastic seafood choices, salads and pasta dishes. A sample menu has been placed in the Blue Book.

Following dinner, the group will head to the Blue Earth Plaza where thousands of lights sparkle with color on a tree towering 50 feet above the plaza. Every night a music concert is presented as the plaza bursts into a synchronized light show with traditional holiday songs. The Blue Earth Plaza and surrounding area has been transformed in to a wonderland of lights.

After the light show, we will travel to neighborhoods in Manhattan, famous for their unique and exquisite outdoor lights. We’ll choose our route from the Manhattan Mercury's article on best Christmas light displays in town! You won’t believe your eyes!

To register for this fun-filled night, sign up in the Blue Book located at the Hospitality Desk. Cost of transportation ($5) and your individual dinner, plus gratuity, will be added to your monthly statement.
