The next UFM Lunch and Learn begins at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 2, in the Event Center and is titled “The Lost Towns and Overview of the Chapman Center.” Mary Kohn will lead the program about the Chapman Center, an organization that hopes to document the stories of Kansas’ earliest Pioneer communities before they are forgotten entirely. During the lunch and learn, Mary will share some of the more surprising findings, as well as introduce the most recent projects, including the preservation of historic autograph albums.

For all Lunch and Learn classes, please bring your own lunch, or arrive early and purchase from the menu at Meadowlark’s Prairie Star restaurant.
