The season of Lent begins earlier than usual this year, with Ash Wednesday falling Wednesday, Feb. 10. Meadowlark Hills will be offering two Ash Wednesday services. One will be held at 10 a.m. in the KSU Classroom and the other will take place at 2 p.m. in the Community Room. Both services will be led by Chaplain Patty Brown-Barrett, with assistance from Retired Chaplain Orris Kelly.
Receiving ashes (either on the forehead or on the back of a hand) is always optional, and all are welcome!
