Students represented by the Pickering Family Piano Studios will be presented in recital at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2, in the Community Room. The three teachers whose students will be performing are Dr. David Pickering, Associate Professor of Music at Kansas State University, his wife Melinda Pickering, a piano teacher in the Manhattan community and a student pursuing a Master of Music degree in Piano Pedagogy at KSU, and their daughter Audrey, a piano student of Dr. Tanya Allston and a junior in high school. Audrey also assists Michael Oldfather during our Meadowlark Hills Singers Practices.
