Prime Real Estate
It’s not often that I am asked what is going to happen with the empty space in the Community Center. For my faithful readers, you have read previous articles of mine that reference the limited real estate in the common and storage areas on campus – especially in the main building. But I know we all want to know what in the world is going into the alcove adjacent to the entrance to Prairie Star Restaurant that was once occupied by display cases…
Scooter (and walker!) parking! Becky Fitzgerald and Magye Loya have been working to have the old display cases moved (we will be keeping one for possible future use in another area) and artwork and decorative pieces hung up. This area will then be conducive to scooter and walker parking while spending time in the Community Center. I ask that you use this area to park your scooters and walkers, and please do not use the areas near the alcove where decorative pots and pillow stacks are on display.
Additionally, when dining at Prairie Star Restaurant, it is always an option to have your scooter or walker valeted by the restaurant staff.
See you next week, thanks for stopping by!
