The History of Rock ’n’ Roll Osher class scheduled for Mondays, July 14, 21 and 28, from 3 to 5 p.m. will look at rock ‘n’ roll from its origins, focusing on the development of rock styles from its roots in blues, folk, country and pop. The focus of the course will be music from the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. The class will be led by Dr. Steven Maxwell, Associate Professor of Music at Kansas State University.
