Eisenhower Museum Tour

Location: Depart from Village Entrance

Transportation will depart for the Eisenhower Museum in Abilene at 1 p.m. from the Village Entrance. After arriving, we will take a self–guided tour of the Boyhood Home of Eisenhower. Next, we will visit the museum and view a movie of the life of Eisenhower. Finally, we will visit the special exhibit on display, the World War II Remembered: Leaders, Battles & Heroes, that presents an inclusive commemoration of the pivotal events of World War II.

After departing the museum, the group will enjoy family-style dining at the legendary Brookville Hotel, famous for its fried chicken dinners!

The cost of the trip will be between $38 and $45 per person, depending on the amount of people in attendance. This cost will include admission to the museum, dinner at Brookville Hotel (including family style chicken dinner, a beverage and gratuity) and transportation to Abilene and home again. Please, register by signing up in the Blue Book by Thursday, March 6. The cost of the trip will be added to your March finance statement.
