Art Appreciation: WONDERful event boosts Memory Program
May 24, 2023
Local not-for-profit focused on supporting people in living their best lives
Location: Community Room/Chapel at Meadowlark
Join us for a holy observance of Memorial Day. This day was first known as "Declaration Day" and originated after the Civil War as a springtime tribute to fallen soldiers. Those first observances revolved around prayer and decorating the graves of fallen soldiers. In recent years, many have taken it as an opportunity to visit family cemeteries and remember those who died serving our nation, as well as lost loved ones.
During this service of worship at 7 p.m. Monday, May 29, in the Community Room/Chapel, we'll sing patriotic songs, join in prayer, and be challenged to think about what it means to serve selflessly.
