Meadowlark Hills will be taking a group to the Beach Museum or Art for a guided tour of the new exhibition, “Art for Every Home: Associated American Artists” Thursday, Oct. 22.

This traveling exhibition and its accompanying publications provide the first comprehensive overview of Associated American Artists (1934-2000). The commercial enterprise best known as the publisher of prints. The exhibition addresses not only AAA’s stored involvement in the popularization of American prints in the 1930’s, but also its ongoing promotion of American art over six decades. Through aggressive marketing of studio prints, ceramics and textiles and associates with corporate advertisers, AA sought to being “original” American art over the threshold of every American home.

The cost for transportation is $3 per person and the group will depart from the Village Entrance at 10:15 a.m. A sign-up sheet is available in the Blue Book located at the Hospitality Desk.
