The Romance of the Old Trade Routes

This Osher course traces old global trade routes in Asia, the Middle East, Europe and the United States, assessing the economic, political and military impact for each route. The class will also discuss the issues surrounding global trade today.

Join Charlotte Kennedy Takahashi, MBA in International Management and a masters degree in Asia History while she teaches about the remains of the old trade routes from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, at Via Christi Retirement Community. The second and third courses are scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 1, and Thursday, Oct. 8 at the same time and location as the first class.
