A little more from Amanda:

“My favorite place in Manhattan is Pottawatomie State Lake. It is off the beaten path and an escape from the masses. It is easy to enjoy stars that are not diluted by the city lights. I’m not sure I’ve ever actually caught a fish out there, but it is always fun to try.”

“My best memory of Meadowlark Hills was the day I started over four years ago. I was told about a man who, once you got him talking, it was hard to leave his side for two reasons: first, because you would be so intrigued by his stories and second, because his stories never ended! That first night working at Meadowlark Hills was just that, uninterrupted stories. For the duration of his life, he always had something to add to every story each time he told it.”
