Location: Patriot Room at Meadowlark
Join the Page Turners book group at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 23, in the Patriot Room as we continue our discussion of Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI by David Grann. This nonfiction National Book Award Finalist takes a close look at one of the most chilling conspiracies in American history, the murders of the Osage Nation in Oklahoma in the early 1900s. Investigating these murders is the newly created FBI, a Texas Ranger, and an undercover team that includes a Native American agent. We have copies of the book available from the Manhattan Public Library. If you would like to borrow one, please contact Katie Sigman with Special Programs at ksigman@meadowlark.org or (785) 323-3899. You do not have to come to every discussion to participate; just come when you are able!
