Dave Prockish, Purchasing & Transportation Leader

Dave Prockish serves as the Purchasing and Transportation Leader at Meadowlark, where he plays a pivotal role in overseeing purchasing and inventory management for medical, housekeeping, and office supplies. Dave is responsible for leading the transportation team, scheduling resident transportation needs, and ensuring the maintenance of Meadowlark's fleet of vehicles.

Dave embarked on his journey with Meadowlark in August 2013, bringing with him a wealth of experience from his prior role as the Service Manager at Briggs Auto Group-Nissan. His expertise in automotive management is rooted in his educational background, having graduated from the automotive program at Manhattan Area Technical College (MATC) in 1975. Dave also holds a high school diploma from Manhattan High School, earned in 1974.

Beyond his daily responsibilities, Dave has been an active contributor to the field, serving on the MATC Automotive Advisory Board for 10 years. He has also been a valuable member of the Kansas Automotive Advisory Board, working to align automotive curriculum standards for all Kansas Automotive Schools. Dave's dedication to his profession is further evident in his long-standing involvement in the Manhattan Bowling Association, where he has served as Vice President for an impressive 20 years.

Residing in Manhattan, Kansas, with his spouse, Lisa, Dave finds fulfillment in his family life. The couple shares the joys of parenthood with two daughters, a son-in-law, and the delight of a grandchild.

For Dave, Manhattan holds a special place in his heart, and his favorite spot in the city is the downtown area along Poyntz Avenue. He appreciates how Manhattan keeps Main Street alive, reflecting his connection to the vibrant community.
