Speedy Pd Race for Parkinson's disease

Welcome to the Speedy PD Page!

We're looking forward to the 11th annual Speedy Pd Race for Parkinson's Disease on Saturday, Aug. 24, at Tuttle Creek State Park.

Want to join the fight against Parkinson's Disease? Don your running (or walking!) shoes and  register as a participant or help out at the event by assisting as one of our incredible volunteers.

More About Speedy Pd

The Speedy Pd has one of the most unique race courses in this area. Set at the beautiful Tuttle Creek State Park, both the 5K and 10K courses are USATF certified since 2013! Both courses are on all-paved roads. The 5K course is very flat to the finish. The 10K course is also very flat and shaded throughout the course. Both courses include scenic views of the lake, and a great atmosphere with volunteers and supporters lining the course.

The race routes are stroller friendly, and we encourage the whole family to attend! You won’t want to miss it!

The Speedy Pd 5K/10K and Family Fun Run is an event to benefit the Meadowlark Hills Parkinson Fund. The Meadowlark Parkinson Fund helps support services for the community to improve the quality of life for all those affected by Parkinson’s disease including patients, caregivers, therapists and nurses. With this fund, Meadowlark is able to continue and expand opportunities for education, outreach, scholarships for medical purposes, medical care and a future Parkinson’s resource center for the Kansas region.
