Local not-for-profit focused on supporting people in living their best lives
Location: Prairie Star Restaurant's Event Center at Meadowlark
When someone we love faces illness, grief, or trauma, we want to help — but sometimes our words or actions miss the mark. In this one-hour class Meadowlark Spiritual Life Leader, Melanie Nord, will introduce the Ring Theory, a simple yet powerful tool created by psychologist Susan Silk to guide us in offering meaningful support. Together, we’ll explore how to provide comfort where it’s needed most, avoid unhelpful pitfalls, and strengthen the circles of care within our community.
This special interactive lecture is hosted by Meadowlark Cancer Program and is open to adults of all ages who wish to learn practical and compassionate ways to walk alongside others in times of crisis. There is no cost to attend and registration is not required.
