Meadowlark Hills Retirement Community is pleased to announce that it is now a LifeBio Certified Community.
LifeBio is a system for recording life’s adventures, capturing life stories, and building new friendships, according to Beth Sanders, Founder and CEO of LifeBio. With LifeBio, Meadowlark Hills now has the opportunity to offer residents and their family members LifeBio 101 reminiscence classes, do-it-yourself Memory Journals and video recordings through LifeBio.com’s web program. Every member of Meadowlark Hills can now take advantage of templates provided by LifeBio for recording their entire life story, or shorter versions of it like veteran’s stories, love stories, travel stories and more.
“With LifeBio, we’ll be learning more exciting things every day about the amazing people associated with Meadowlark Hills, including residents, passport members and family,” said Steve Shields, President and CEO of Meadowlark Hills. “We already know how reminiscence contributes to personal well being, so we are very excited to begin using our new LifeBio tools,” Shields added.
“Plus, it’s such a gift for families to know that their parents’ or grandparents’ life lessons, values, traditions and beliefs are being captured,” said Shields.
For more information on exciting options available from LifeBio, please call Thom Jackson at 785-537-4610 or email thom.jackson@meadowlark.org.
