Meadowlark Hills Foundation is pleased to announce that Thomas E. Jackson has joined the team at Meadowlark Hills as Executive Director of the Meadowlark Hills Foundation. Originally from upstate New York, Jackson attended the State University of New York/Syracuse University. For the past 10 years, he worked at Kansas State University as Assistant Director of McCain Auditorium.

Steve Shields, President and CEO of Meadowlark Hills, said Jackson brings a refreshing outlook to the organization and beyond.

“He (Jackson) has superior credibility and strong relationships with the Manhattan community,” Shields said. “I am confident his success at McCain will lead him to success with the Foundation.”

Meadowlark Hills Foundation recently closed its “Our Home, Our Health, Our Future,” capital campaign after reaching its initial goal of $3.5 million. The campaign, launched in fall 2006, helped build two state-of-the-art healthcare households and a Community Center, which houses a fitness center, to serve Meadowlark residents and the broader Manhattan community.

Meadowlark Hills is one of the premier resident-centered senior communities in the country.
