Joe Schlageck, M.D., a lifelong Kansas resident, is Meadowlark’s on-campus staff  physician. He enjoys providing medical care to the residents, Passport holders and staff of the Meadowlark community.

Schlageck’s practice style will focus on helping you make important decisions about your acute and chronic health issues. He is dedicated to wellness and wants to maximize your quality of life through a proactive and all-encompassing care plan designed just for you.

Prior to joining Meadowlark’s staff, Schlageck was a family practice physician for 17 years in Wichita. While there, he was very active in the development of new and innovative care plans for the aging community of Wichita. He was a graduate of the University of Kansas Medical School and is board certified by the American Academy of Family Practice Physicians.

Schlageck lives with his wife and four children on a farm just north of Manhattan.
